Terms of Service
Standard terms governing the use of the Dorynix software discovery, licensing-information, and technical support directory.
Last Updated & Verified: October 2026
1. Operational Scope & Service Model
Dorynix operates as an independent platform delivering software intelligence, system deployment blueprints, licensing specifications, and automated workstation PC building tools. We provide structured system configuration information, version specifications, and compatibility diagnostics for personal and enterprise workstation environments.
Dorynix does not directly sell proprietary software licenses. Applicable license purchases and fulfillment are handled independently by third-party merchants or authorized providers. Dorynix provides matching intelligence, compatibility guidance, and on-demand technical troubleshooting.
2. Core Operational Pillars
1Intellectual Property & Nominative Fair Use
Dorynix does not distribute proprietary software files or infringe upon copyrights. All brand names, software titles, and trademarks referenced across our directory are used strictly under nominative fair use for identification and compatibility routing purposes without implying official publisher certification or endorsement.
2Compatibility Guidance & Technical Support
Our platform provides technical guidance to resolve installation bottlenecks, evaluate hardware and architecture compatibility, and assist users with setup and configuration inquiries.
3Third-Party Provider Transactions
When users navigate to third-party providers from Dorynix, transactions are completed directly with the respective merchant under their own terms and privacy practices. Dorynix may receive referral compensation from partner merchants.
3. Acceptable Use & Prohibited Conduct
Users agree to utilize the directory in full compliance with all applicable local, national, and international laws. Prohibited activities include:
- Attempting to scrape, harvest, or index Dorynix data via automated bots without prior written consent.
- Engaging in denial-of-service attacks, reverse engineering, or intentional disruption of directory network performance.
- Utilizing directory search vectors to disseminate malicious code or violate intellectual property rights.
4. Intellectual Property & Nominative Fair Use
All trademarks, registered trade names, corporate logos, and product identities appearing within directory search results remain the exclusive property of their respective trademark holders. Their appearance within Dorynix constitutes non-commercial nominative fair use under international intellectual property statutes, serving exclusively to identify software environments and compatibility configurations for consumers.
5. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Dorynix and its operators shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages resulting from the use or inability to use directory data, third-party link resolutions, or remote deployment configurations.
6. Modifications to Terms
Dorynix reserves the right to amend these Terms of Service at any time to reflect infrastructural, legal, or regulatory updates. Continued use of the service following revisions constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.
